Big thumbnails in What's New like YouTube app

Describe the feature you want

I think it would be nice if you add feature of big thumbnails in What's New like YouTube app. Most of the good youtubers make thumbnails in such a way that thumbnails describes entire video.

How will you/everyone benefit from this feature?

Regional language youtubers(youtubers who speak in any regional language within the video) generally keep video title in english so that searching a video becomes easy for people who understand both english and regional language. But they will include text in regional language in the thumbnail so that it would be easy for regional viewer to understand the content of video. My family members don't just read the video title but they just see the thumbnail and decide whether to watch a video or not.
As this feature is currently not available in Newpipe, I can't convice them much to use Newpipe rather than Youtube app.

I have a few counterarguments to this feature:

• Why the Feed only? If we implement this, than do it at best everywhere (as 1x1 grid view option #6087 has pointed out)

• I personally hate the current version of the YT app with it's thumbnails that cover half of my phone screen: When searching something you end up scrolling like forever. Also when e.g. searching for songs I don't care about thumbnails.

• Regional language youtubers(youtubers who speak in any regional language within the video) generally keep video title in english so that searching a video becomes easy for people who understand both english and regional language. ...

  Definitely not in my country... Are these the youtubers that have "Why is your title english but not the video?" in there comments? 😆
  Also when I scroll through the thumbnails in my countries current "feed" they mostly don't add any additional information of what can already been read in the title:

I laughed to myself in Newpipe when I saw other people with that updated YT UI.

This view style, in my opinion, makes every video stand out. It may not be useful when searching but for the What's new view, I think it is very useful and maybe you'll not miss a video you would have wanted to watch.
Even then, it should be an option and opt-out by default so everyone can choose the view that they want and be happy

Hey team, I also have difficulties using the app with small thumbnails instead if big ones in the original YT app and even Libretube or Skytube.

Any additional info is needed to have this feature worked on ?
