How to get at least decent workflows in Claude Code

My recent experience with this tool as been underwhelming. Research works, but workflow creation is unusable.
I keep getting non-existing nodes.

I'm using Claude Code. Should I use the recommended Claude project instructions in my Claude.md file?

I've had the exact same experience. All of the YT videos that seem to be able to produce complete workflows using this tool, are not what I've experienced. Not only that, but I seem to hit Claude limits pretty fast.

I thought, i have to create a new issue/discussion for that. But it seems, i'm not alone 👍

I'm using Claude code, the claude.md is filled with the content of the readme. Also n8n skills are installed. But nearly every Workflow i want to create is underwhelming... Connection between the nodes are wrong... a simple Upload to s3 is done via http request?

Most of the time, the Claude code plan seems to BE correct, but the result is unusable.

Ive given n8n mcp several Chances, but nearly every time i did the workflows in my own.

Would really appriciate to use n8n mcp, because i Like the Idea behind IT

Actually, thinks have taken a U turn after Claude Opus 4.5.

I've been using it in Claude Code extremely successfully, every day, to plan, create, modify and test all my workflows, I rarely use the n8n canvas now.
